EQUATIONS!!!!!

We have just started working on equations .We know that they are a bit difficult at first. Don´t worry, it’s just a question of time and if you keep working on them every day you’ll understand them eventually.

To help you, there is a video about equations and two games to practice them.

MATH VIDEO ABOUT SOLVING EQUATIONS....

EQUATIONS GAME:

BILINGÜAL SECTION DAY (MATHS)

BILINGUAL SECTION DAY (MATHS)

We celebrated the Bilingual Section Day on March 25th. Each teacher involved in bilingual learning prepared activities for the pupils, such as a concert, a gymkhana and board games.

The Maths Department prepared a ‘maths bingo’ in English for students of 1ºESO. It was like a traditional bingo but with a few differences. We called out a math expression instead of a number, and the students had to work out the expression to get a number. Once they guessed the answer they had to cross it out on the bingo card.

Here you have some examples:

Bingo expression:

number:

Half a dozen.

12 : 2 =6

The days of the week.

7

Two cubed.

23 = 8

We hope that the students who took part in the game enjoyed it.

(Thanks to Antonio from English department for the corrections)
